Ingredients for Marinade:

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp cooking sherry

  • 2 tbsp water

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp grated ginger root

  • 1 tsp sugar (or less, I use half or even some honey would taste great)

Directions:

  1. This recipe is meant for 500 g of salmon

  2. I usually 4 X for a salmon from Costco (although wild-caught is best!)

  3. Marinade in mixture for a few hours before either baking in cooking dish or barbequing

  4. Put chunks of marinating ginger on the salmon while cooking or use some of the marinade in the dish while cooking in the oven.
